Evaluation

I have considerable experience of evaluating the psychometric properties of both individual tests and entire selection systems. Examples of the former can be seen in my test reviews in the Mental Measurement Yearbooks, and of my evaluation of the WISC-III in "Educational Psychology in Practice". Examples of the latter include consultancy with the Training and Employment Agency, to examine the effectiveness of tests used to help school leavers to identify the most appropriate area and level of training.

I also review book proposals for a range of publishers (Cambridge University Press, Hodder, Routledge, etc.) as well as research grant proposals for major charities and research councils.
